Adriana and Michael first met at Le Moyne College, so it was the perfect setting for their engagement session. During that photo session, I knew right away that this lively couple was going to make their wedding a day to remember filled with laughter and fun.
On the morning of their wedding at Shadow Lake Golf and Racquet Club, Adriana started her day in one of the rooms at Shadow Lake. While Michael was at the Hampton Inn in Webster, NY with his groomsmen.
Shortly after Adriana was in her dress, we found a nice quiet area off of the golf course for two first looks.
Adriana’s FIRST first look was with her father, Hank. Hank was at a loss for words when he saw his daughter for the first time and couldn’t believe how stunning she looked in her gorgeous wedding dress.
Then it was Michael’s turn to see Adriana. Michael’s face filled with love and excitement as he saw his bride. After a couple hugs and kisses, the couple posed for some family formals before the ceremony.
The time of day was just right for their ceremony with some nice back lighting and a fountain behind them for some added ambience.
Adriana and Michael’s ceremony included a “warming of the rings”. This was a sweet moment for each guest to hold the rings and make a wish, share good luck, give a blessing, and fill the rings with their love, support, and wisdom.
Then, as the couple exchanged the rings with heartfelt vows, Adriana couldn’t hold back the tears as Michael said his vows.
During the dinner hour, the light was just right for some sunset photos, so we whisked Adriana and Michael away for some jaw-dropping images at the 18th hole.
We were able to sneak away again from the reception for a couple of quick nighttime romantic portraits.
After Adriana and her father had their “formal” dance, Hank tossed his suit coat aside for a Hawaiian shirt and joined Adriana for another dance to Jimmy Buffett’s “One Particular Harbor.”
Hank and Michael kept the fun going as they sang “Mannish Boy” by Muddy Waters together.
The “sweet” reception included Gannon’s Isle homemade ice cream bar to give a good boost and sugar rush for some dancing and fun with glow sticks on the dance floor.
I had a blast sharing this special day with Adriana and Michael, and wish them a happy marriage. I hope it’s filled with as much love and fun as you awesome wedding day!
